Today we’re pushing MetaGrid Pro 1.6.17 Beta 4 to testers with two features we’ve been working on for quite some time. Both are focused on making MetaGrid Pro easier to learn when you start using it.
Help Guide
MetaGrid Pro now includes a built-in Help Guide directly inside the app.
It replaces the previous User Guide and the MIDI / DAW Setup Guide, and also adds dedicated sections for MetaServer for Mac and Windows.
So instead of digging through PDFs, everything is now available and searchable right inside MetaGrid Pro whenever you need it.
First Launch Onboarding
New users will now be guided through the core concepts of MetaGrid Pro during the first launch.
The onboarding walks through the Dashboard, Edit Mode, and the Content Manager, helping users understand how the system works and how everything fits together.
Beta 4 also completes the feature set planned for MetaGrid Pro 1.6.17. From here on we’re focusing on bug fixes, polishing, and optimizations as we move toward the final release. Hopefully we’ll be ready to ship very soon 
A lot of work went into these improvements, but it feels like an important step forward for the overall maturity and usability of MetaGrid Pro.
