Hi, Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to get the GRID ‘selected channel’ to work within Cubase. I’ve tried using the “MIDI Remote” way, as well as the Generic Remotes ones. I’ve even tried a combination of the two, but nothing works. The GRID receives data from Cubase to the iPad (including timecode), but it doesn’t work the other way round. I’ve noticed some strange behaviour: in ‘MIDI Remote’ mode, the ‘selected channel’ script doesn’t load automatically. It’s present locally but doesn’t appear on screen. Do you have a solution you could suggest? Have a good day, Paz ---

Thanks for the details. We need to separate the MIDI Remote script not loading automatically from the controls not reaching Cubase. Are you using macOS or Windows, and which exact MetaGrid Pro, MetaServer and Cubase versions and builds are installed? Please also share: - The installed Selected Channel script version - Screenshots of its MIDI Remote input and output assignments - Any Generic Remote assignments using the same MIDI ports - One Selected Channel control you tested and what you expected it to do Does manually adding or activating Selected Channel make its controls work until Cubase is restarted, or do they remain inactive? We are still verifying a similar persistence report on Windows, but we need your setup details before deciding whether this is the same issue. When I create a track the ipad receives the informations (for example the name of the plugin inserted, the inserts or sends) but it only works in one sense, from Cubase to Metagrid. I am not able to send something from iPad to Cubase. " **Selected channel" does not work (apart from the navigation commands). After having re-installed the GRIDS in the iPad it works now ! Probably they did correspond to the “Generic remote” setup ? Thanks again for your help, Paz
