# Metagrid contantly defaults to the Desktop profile

Hi,
Every time i open up Metagrid, it defaults to the Desktop profile, instead of a Nuendo profile that i created and that i wish would be the systematic default profile.
I looked everywhere for a way to do this, with no luck.
Any suggestions?

How did you create the Nuendo profile? It seems that MetaGrid Pro doesn’t match the name of the application coming from your computer with the profile name. Can you create a new profile for Nuendo by doing the following:
1. Open Nuendo on your computer.
2. In MetaGrid Pro go to the Content Manager and in the Profile area tap the Plus button and select the Nuendo profile. See what name do you have for this profile.
3. If different, delete this profile, rename your existing profile name to match exactly the name of the profile created for Nuendo.

Great, i think that this did the trick (my profile didn’t have the exact same name)
