# Launching Apps Causes Loss Of Connection

This happens several times a day. MGP is running, I launch VEP, Cubase or another app and MGP loses connection. This is always followed by the ‘Connecting’ \> ‘Connection Failed’ screen. I have to quit MGP and relaunch to establish a connection. It’s getting annoying having to do this repeatedly.
