# \[In Progress\] MetaGrid Pro update caused loss of Early Supporter recognition and Gesture Pad access

**1. Summary/Title**  
_I upgraded the MetaGrid app and the subscription status in the app now says 'Free" instead of “Early Adopter”. I have been an Early Supporter up to this point because I purchased the app years ago. I can now only use one grid and I also lost use of Gesture pads._

**2. Steps to Reproduce**  
_I do not know how to reproduce the issue_

**3. Expected Result**  
_I expected to update the app and retain the license I purchased (early supporter) and the use of all functionality I had._

**4. Actual Result**  
_After update, I did not retain the proper license or full functionality._

Hi Ryan,

I’m very sorry about this. I have located your email conversation, including the follow-up messages, and you should have received a response much sooner.

Your report is understood: after updating and reinstalling MetaGrid Pro, the app changed from Early Supporter access to the Free plan, Restore Purchases did not correct it, and you consequently lost access to additional grids and Gesture Pads.

This requires a private entitlement review because it may involve the Apple ID associated with the original purchase. Please do not post any Apple ID or purchase information in this public topic. Your existing email conversation will be continued directly today so the account details can be checked safely and a solution provided.
