# Can't lock my Nuendo grid

Hi  
I have a grid that I use in Nuendo. In this grid the Lock icon is disappeared .  
How can I change that?

The Lock button can be hidden in the dashboard appearance configuration.

Please open the Content Manager, edit the workspace containing your Nuendo grid, and expand **Display Options**. If **Override Dashboard Appearance** is enabled, make sure **Show Lock Button** is also enabled.

If the workspace is not overriding the dashboard appearance, please open **Settings → Interface Appearance → Sidebar Configuration** and enable the Lock button there.

The sidebar button configuration applies globally or to an entire workspace—it is not configured separately for an individual grid.
