# Bug: Macro Retaining Old Entries And Another XY Pad Bug

In this video you can see that I need to clear the macro 4 times before there is no entries. It happens a lot with latching switches. It may be where I have copied a button across. It seems that the ‘Clear’ function is not working as expected. I am running 1.6.9 (30697)
And here you can see that after adding a controller to this XY Pad it reverts back to only one controller.

OK, it seems that the “Clear” function needs to be revisited. Thanks of the videos - we will handle this in 1.6.x release cycle.

Here’s a link to a button that has issues. It WAS a Latching Switch, then I converted it to a Momentary Switch. For some reason it is still toggling from incoming MIDI coming from Bome as if it were still a Latching Switch i.e. when I press it, it displays a brighter appearance (it remains lit).
I had it toggling from MIDI coming from Bome along with 3 other buttons which were also converted to Momentary Switches. But they are all still behaving like Latching Switches. There seems to be an overwriting (or absence thereof) issue with MGP
