# Are Add-Ons grids/workspaces included in the Premium Subscriptions/Life Time?

The Add-ons Store is showing everything as NOT paid for. However, I have a Premium plan. I’m running MetaGrid Pro 1.6.4 and MetaServer for Mac 5.1.1.2555.
When I try to add the LP Media Composer grid to my Logic Pro profile, it shows (in the add-ons tab) as ‘not purchased yet’. If I go ahead and add it, then I get the red ‘GRID LOCKED’ message when I try to use it.
This is very frustrating. Not sure what to do?
[Note: I bought the Lifetime plan for £99.99 on 21st Nov 2024, as an in-app purchase].

Have you updated MGP recently? Have you tried the ‘ **Restore All Purchases** ’ button in Settings?

Yes I updated to 1.6.4 recently. I tried ‘restore purchases’, but pressing it doesn’t do anything. To be clear, this is in Settings \> Show Subscription Plans / Restore All Purchases \> ‘Restore Purchases’ (text underneath the 3 ‘plan’ buttons).

I’m running an older version so my ‘ **Restore All Purchases** ’button is just below the ‘ **Add-Ons Store** ’ button. It should be working. If it is not, there is definitely something wrong there.
Is MGP going to a subscription model? 😨

If you have read the info on the website, documentation, add-ons store and in app onboarding ot ort Zendesk support system, you would save yourself lots of frustration - add-ons - namely premium grids and workspaces - are independent of the subscriptions and have to be bought separately. The subscription covers all grid objects and tons of free presets.

Ok thank you for clarifying that. I did read all the documentation carefully, and in particular this paragraph from the post about the pricing model:
_The Add-Ons Store:_
_MetaGrid Pro also features an in-app Add-Ons store where you can purchase custom grids and workspaces created by MetaSystem and third parties. These premium add-ons require a subscription or a lifetime purchase to be functional…_
It was that last sentence that I’ve obviously misunderstood. When it said ‘These premium add-ons require a subscription or a lifetime purchase to be functional’, I understood that to mean that if I had a lifetime purchase then I would be able to access all the add-ons. Maybe you could add another line to that paragraph to make it super clear that people will still need to buy the add-ons separately, even if they have a subscription or lifetime purchase?

PS now that we’ve resolved this, would it be appropriate to delete this thread? As it was obviously my own confusion. Or I could just amend the title of the thread?
